Attending a meeting as a Guest

You can attend up to three of our regular meetings as a guest. The charge for attending as a guest is £5.

 

Non-members cannot normally attend our sub-groups or other events, but for certain events this is at the discretion of the organiser.

 

Join Us!

We are a large WI group, but we do have a membership cap and from time to time we have to ask ladies to join a waiting list, but please do contact us if you are considering joining us and we can let you know if you are able to join straight away. 

 

Single Membership

 

Each WI Member pays a subscription fee to cover the cost of her membership and to help with running the organisation. The subscription in April 2024 will be £48. In April 2025 the annual subscription will be £51.

 

Dual members (members of two WIs)

 

Dual members will pay an additional £23.60 in 2024 (£25.10 in 2025) to their second WIs, on top of their main subscription. There is no pro-rata rate for dual membership; the fee is set for the year. 

 

Pro-rata subscriptions for new members

 

A new member joining the WI for the first time (or who has not been a member of any WI in the 12 months prior to their joining the WI) pays a pro-rata subscription. This depends on when she joins, as shown below.

 

Date of joining in, 2025-2026:

  • 1 April to 30 June - £51.00
  • 1 July to 30 Sept - £38.25
  • 1 Oct to 31 Dec - £25.50
  • 1 Jan to 31 March 2025 - £12.75
